Use the custodian that matches the Baraga County record:

- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Baraga County Sheriff and Jail

- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Set-aside records: begin with the court that entered the conviction and follow Michigan State Police packet instructions

For court files, the 97th District Court and 12th Circuit Court are at 16 N. Third Street, L'Anse, MI 49946. District Court uses (906) 524-6100 ext. 201 or 202; the Circuit Court clerk uses ext. 301. County FOIA forms are available through the official county documents page.
